About
"I believe that everyone has the right to a vibrant life free from ill health. With our modern busy lives, it's easy to put you at the bottom of your priority list and for your health to suffer as a result."

I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Nutritional Therapy from the Institute for Optimum Nutrition (ION), validated by the University of Portsmouth.

I am also a qualified nutrigenomics practitioner, having completed specialist training with Lifecode GX, allowing me to incorporate optional DNA testing into my work where appropriate.

I am committed to ongoing professional development to ensure my practice is informed by the latest research.
I am registered with both the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
Bella Dorey - Nutritional Therapist
Hi, I’m Bella, a BANT-registered nutritional therapist with a passion for helping people improve their health through evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle support.
I opened my practice in 2019 and have since supported clients with a wide range of concerns, including digestive health issues, persistent skin problems, low energy, difficulty managing weight, pain, and hormone-related symptoms.

My approach is holistic, compassionate, and highly personalised. I don’t believe in restrictive diets or quick fixes. Instead, I support clients in developing a balanced, sustainable relationship with food, one that nourishes both the body and the mind.

When working together, I take the time to understand the whole picture. This includes not only what you eat, but also factors such as sleep, stress, lifestyle habits, family history, and overall health context. By exploring these foundations, we can identify underlying imbalances and focus on meaningful, long-term change.

Having experienced my own health challenges in the past, I understand how overwhelming symptoms can feel, and how important it is that any plan is both realistic and supportive of real life. This perspective shapes how I work with clients, combining clinical insight with empathy and practicality.

I’m particularly passionate about helping people rediscover confidence in food, understand how nutrition can support their health, and feel empowered rather than restricted.

What Is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional therapy is a personalised, evidence-based approach that uses food, lifestyle strategies, and targeted supplementation to support health and wellbeing.

Rather than focusing on symptoms in isolation, nutritional therapy considers the body as a whole, exploring factors such as diet, digestion, stress, sleep, and nutrient status to understand what may be contributing to ongoing concerns.

At the heart of nutritional therapy is the principle of food as medicine, using nutrition and lifestyle interventions to support the body’s natural processes and promote long-term resilience.
Nutritional therapy can be helpful for individuals managing ongoing health concerns, as well as those who want to optimise their health, energy, and overall wellbeing.
