Tired of feeling uncomfortable in your own body?

Bloating after meals. Unpredictable digestion. Energy crashes.

A feeling that something just isn't right, even when the doctor tells you that the tests came back "normal."

If this sounds familiar, it's not something you simply have to put up with.

As a gut health nutritionist, I work with clients to uncover the underlying reasons their digestion isn't working the way it should, and put a clear, personalised plan in place to help them feel better.

Why gut health matters more than you think

Your gut does far more than digest food. It plays a central role in your immune system, your mood, your energy levels, your skin, and your hormone balance. When your gut isn't functioning well, the effects can ripple through your entire body.

Yet gut symptoms are frequently dismissed, misunderstood, or managed with advice that doesn't get to the root of the problem.

Nutritional therapy takes a different approach, looking at why your gut is struggling, not just what to avoid.

Common drivers of gut symptoms I work with:

  • Gut microbiome imbalances: dysbiosis, low microbial diversity, or an overgrowth of particular bacteria or yeasts

  • Increased intestinal permeability: often called "leaky gut", which can drive food sensitivities and systemic inflammation

  • Low stomach acid or digestive enzyme insufficiency: leading to bloating, reflux, and poor nutrient absorption

  • Stress and the gut-brain axis: chronic stress has a direct and measurable impact on gut function

  • Dietary patterns: not just what you're eating, but how you're eating, and whether your diet is supporting a diverse, resilient microbiome

What working with me looks like

I provide tailored guidance for various skin issues, helping clients achieve healthier skin

through nutrition and lifestyle adjustments.

Step 1

We start with a

free 20-minute discovery call.

This is a chance to talk through your symptoms and for you to ask any questions before committing.

No pressure, just a conversation about what you're going through and whether we're a good fit.

Step 2

Your first full consultation goes deep into your symptoms, diet, lifestyle, health history, and goals. From there, I'll build a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan that's realistic, evidence-based, and designed to make a genuine difference.

Testing

For clients who want more detailed insight, optional functional testing is available, including a comprehensive microbiome analysis (a full 'map' of your gut bacteria), SIBO breath testing, or full blood work, to help us understand exactly what's going on inside.

Frequently asked questions

Can nutrition really help IBS?

Yes. While IBS is complex and individual, there is strong evidence that dietary and lifestyle interventions, including specific dietary approaches, supplement support, and stress management, can significantly reduce symptoms. Nutritional therapy goes further than a standard dietary referral by looking at the full picture.

How is this different from seeing a dietitian?

Dietitians and nutritional therapists have overlapping but distinct approaches. As a registered nutritional therapist using a functional medicine lens, I look at lifestyle and stress factors alongside diet, and can incorporate optional functional testing to guide recommendations more precisely.

Do I need a diagnosis to work with you?

Not at all. Many of my clients come to me without a formal diagnosis, just a sense that something isn't right. You don't need a label to deserve support.

After years of being disregarded, I finally felt heard.
I felt fully supported throughout the entire journey, and she would always put my mind at ease if I ever had a wobble. Working with Bella has genuinely been life-changing!
