Tired of feeling uncomfortable in your own body?

Bloating after meals. Unpredictable digestion. Energy crashes.

A feeling that something just isn't right, even when the doctor tells you that the tests came back "normal."

If this sounds familiar, it's not something you simply have to put up with.

As a gut health nutritionist, I work with clients to uncover the underlying reasons their digestion isn't working the way it should, and put a clear, personalised plan in place to help them feel better.

Why gut health matters more than you think

Your gut does far more than digest food. It plays a central role in your immune system, your mood, your energy levels, your skin, and your hormone balance. When your gut isn't functioning well, the effects can ripple through your entire body.

Yet gut symptoms are frequently dismissed, misunderstood, or managed with advice that doesn't get to the root of the problem.

Nutritional therapy takes a different approach, looking at why your gut is struggling, not just what to avoid.

Common drivers of gut symptoms I work with:

  • Gut microbiome imbalances: dysbiosis, low microbial diversity, or an overgrowth of particular bacteria or yeasts

  • Increased intestinal permeability: often called "leaky gut", which can drive food sensitivities and systemic inflammation

  • Low stomach acid or digestive enzyme insufficiency: leading to bloating, reflux, and poor nutrient absorption

  • Stress and the gut-brain axis: chronic stress has a direct and measurable impact on gut function

  • Dietary patterns: not just what you're eating, but how you're eating, and whether your diet is supporting a diverse, resilient microbiome

What working with me looks like

I provide personalised, root-cause support for gut health concerns, helping clients find relief from digestive symptoms and build a healthier relationship with food.

Step 1

We start with a

free 20-minute discovery call.

This is a chance to talk through your symptoms and for you to ask any questions before committing.

No pressure, just a conversation about what you're going through and whether we're a good fit.

Step 2

Your first full consultation goes deep into your symptoms, diet, lifestyle, health history, and goals. From there, I'll build a personalised nutrition and lifestyle plan that's realistic, evidence-based, and designed to make a genuine difference.

Testing

For clients who want more detailed insight, optional functional testing is available, including a comprehensive microbiome analysis (a full 'map' of your gut bacteria), SIBO breath testing, or full blood work, to help us understand exactly what's going on inside.

Gut conditions I specialise in

Nutritional support for IBS

IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) affects around 1 in 5 people in the UK, yet many are told simply to manage stress or try a low FODMAP diet, without any exploration of why their gut is struggling in the first place. As a gut health nutritionist, I look at the full picture: microbiome health, gut-brain communication, stress, dietary patterns, and any potential underlying drivers such as SIBO or gut permeability issues. The goal is long-term relief, not just short-term symptom management.

Nutritional support for bloating

Bloating is one of the most common gut complaints I see, and it's also one of the most misunderstood. It can stem from a wide range of causes, from an imbalanced microbiome and food intolerances to low stomach acid, poor gut motility, or stress-related changes in gut function. Identifying the root cause of your bloating is the first step to resolving it, and that's exactly where I start.

Nutritional support for SIBO

SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) is a condition where bacteria colonise the small intestine in abnormal numbers, leading to bloating, gas, abdominal discomfort, and sometimes diarrhoea or constipation. It's increasingly recognised as a driver of IBS-like symptoms. I work with clients to address SIBO through dietary strategies and targeted supplementation, and can refer for breath testing where this would be helpful.

Nutritional support for gut-skin connection

Your gut and your skin are more closely connected than most people realise. An imbalanced gut microbiome, increased intestinal permeability, or chronic gut inflammation can all manifest as skin conditions including acne, eczema, and rosacea. If you're dealing with both gut and skin symptoms, working on both together, as I do with many clients, often produces faster and more lasting results.

Nutritional support for food intolerances

The underlying reason why your body is reacting is often just as important as identifying the trigger itself. Poor gut barrier function, low digestive enzyme production, or an imbalanced microbiome can all make the gut more reactive to foods it would otherwise tolerate. Rather than recommending sweeping eliminations, I work with clients to understand why intolerances have developed and how to address those root causes, with the goal of expanding your diet over time, not permanently restricting it.

Nutritional support for constipation

Chronic constipation can be driven by a range of factors including inadequate fibre diversity, dehydration, a sluggish gut motility, imbalanced gut bacteria, thyroid function, stress, or a lack of certain key nutrients such as magnesium. I work with clients to identify and address the specific drivers of their constipation, rather than simply recommending more fibre and water.
